The Big Idea

We are excited to present the Second East Bay Anarchist Book Fair
November 26, 10am - 8pm, at Humanist Hall in Oakland, CA. For the fierce,
the sad, the curious, the funny, come meet others like you and different,
talk to strangers in costume, celebrate the dress-up holiday with the people
who know and love it best.
Unusual among book fairs because it emphasizes facilitated conversation
over talking heads, the east bay book fair's themes this year are
education and anarchist teachers, art and music. Conversations are open to everyone.
No prior experience is necessary. The experiences you've gained---living in a
world that is choking to death on its own riches---is all you will ever
need. At the end of the day, we will come together and be silly and celebrate
with Karaoke.

We are calling all anarchists and radicals, young and old, new and
seasoned, to experience East Bay Anarchy at its funnest and finest. We
have organized a day of conversations and a weekend of music and
dancing, that will promote the face to face engagement and connections
necessary for the growth of the radical movement both in the east bay and
across the region. There will also be radical vendors and organizations
from all over the east bay sharing their projects and their wares. Bring
your questions, interests, and ideas to this gathering; look for new
projects, new partners, and new ways to look at new and old problems
alike.

More information on weekend events will be available on facebook and at the book fair.
